Tori :)
Today while driving home I saw a man by my house holding a sign: “Homeless. Will work for food <3”
The man was probably about twenty-five and had a little boy with him, probably about five.
I feel so bad that I couldn’t do anything to help. I really wanted to pull into McDonalds and get him a gift certificate or something, but my mom said she was too busy. I’m used to seeing this in places like Boston but to see it in my own, small town, really hit home. I know what seems to be everyone here, so I couldn’t help to think, “What if that is one of my friends family?”
“What if that was one of my friends?”
“What if that ends up being me?”
I’m glad I saw this though, it really got me thinking about the real issues going on.
From now on, I promise to do everything I can and get more involved. I want to reach out to anyone I possibly can.

Peace and Love,
Tori<3
